The highly anticipated release of “Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1,” starring the iconic Prabhas, is just around the corner, scheduled for December 22, 2023. As the excitement builds, industry insiders and fans alike are eagerly awaiting the film’s box office performance, especially after the spectacular reception of its trailer.
According to data provided by industry tracker Sacnilk, the advance booking for the opening day has already set impressive numbers. As of now, a total of 1,76,769 tickets have been sold, translating to a staggering collection of over Rs 4.29 crore. It’s important to note that these figures do not include block seats, and there is a 30-minute lag in updating the data.
Breaking down the numbers by language, the Telugu version of the movie leads the pack, accounting for the highest number of tickets sold at 95,354, with a cumulative worth of 2.5 crores. Malayalam follows closely behind with 47,922 tickets sold, amounting to Rs 71 lakh. In contrast, the Hindi version has sold only 59 tickets but at a worth of Rs 33,000.
Salaar’s Journey to Release:
“Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1” has been on a rollercoaster journey in terms of its release date. Originally slated for an April release last year, the movie faced scheduling conflicts with the release of “KGF 2.” Subsequent planned releases in the second quarter of 2023 were also postponed until the final decision to hit theaters on December 22, 2023.
Box Office Expectations:
