As per the source, the advance booking report of Animal stated that the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has minted around Rs 22 crores with 7 lakhs tickets sold one day before the release of the film and the numbers are expected to increase during the day.

The report further suggested that the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is expected to collect Rs 55 crores in Hindi, Rs 10 crores in Telugu and around Rs 30 crores overseas on the opening day. If the reports turned out to be true, Animal is likely to beat ShahRukh Khan starrer Pathaan and will become the second highest opener of all times.
