Plot
“Pepe” directed by Shreelesh S. Nair is set in a small town divided by class and power. The story revolves around two groups — the rich upper class and the poor, who moved to the town long ago and were used for labor in sand mining. Conflict arises when a leader from the lower class decides to fight back leading to a series of violent revenge killings. The plot is intense and filled with numerous characters and events making it a bit difficult to follow at times.

Performance
Vinay Rajkumar stands out in his role as Pradeep also known as Pepe. His fresh and bold portrayal shows a new side of his acting skills making him the highlight of the movie. The supporting cast including Mayur Patel, Aruna Balaraj, Medini, Kaajal Kunder and Sandhya Arakere also well performances. However, some characters are not given enough screen time to make a lasting impact.
Technical Aspects
“Pepe” is visually striking with its innovative use of cinematography and editing. The film uses unique techniques like switching between black-and-white and color, which adds a creative flair.
