Plot

The story is set in a house located in a forest in Kallepathi, where ex-military officer Appu Pillai (Vijayaraghavan) lives with his son, Ajayan (Asif Ali) who works as a forest officer. The plot begins with the disappearance of a licensed pistol owned by Appu Pillai, which is supposed to be surrendered during an election. The missing weapon causes a police investigation that coincides with Ajayan’s marriage to Aparna (Aparna Balamurali).

Vijayaraghavan delivers a powerful performance as Appu Pillai, a stern and secretive ex-military man. His portrayal of the character’s complex personality adds depth to the film. Asif Ali plays Ajayan with great emotional intensity, revealing hidden layers to his character as the story unfolds. Aparna Balamurali shines as Aparna adding curiosity and determination to the plot as she tries to uncover the family secrets. Jagadish who plays Sumadathan a forest watcher and an old friend of Appu Pillai brings a subtle yet impactful presence to his role.
