Martin 2 Days Total Box Office Collection: Slow Growth Despite Holiday But Still Hopeful

On its second day, Martin collected an estimated ₹6.80 crores at the box office. Despite the advantage of a holiday, the collection was below expectations, showing that the negative reviews and high ticket prices have started to impact the film’s performance.

Martin 2 Days Total Box Office Collection

With a budget of ₹100 crores it’s becoming increasingly difficult for Martin to break even at this point. The dip in collections on Day 2 indicates that the movie is struggling to maintain momentum and the negative word-of-mouth reviews are playing a big part in this decline. As the Sunday (Day 3) collections are expected to be similar or slightly better, the film is relying heavily on the weekend to make a substantial recovery.

One silver lining for Martin is that around 90% of its earnings are coming from Karnataka, where the fan base for Dhruva Sarja is strong. Plus, Martin has no major competition until Bhageera, another big-budget movie, releases in 18 days. This gives the film some breathing room to pick up additional collections over the next few weeks.

Upcoming Overseas Release Could Boost Numbers

As of now, Martin has only been released in India but the makers have confirmed that the film will see an overseas release from the second week onward. This could add a little more to the overall collection and help the film make up for the slow performance in the domestic market.

Sunday will be a crucial day for the film and how it performs will decide whether Martin has any chance of bouncing back at the box office. For now, the movie needs a major push to stay in the game and only time will tell if it can pull it off.
