Martin Day 3 Box Office Collection – Struggling to Survive

On Day 3, Martin earned ₹4.25 crores, which is less than what it collected on Day 2. This drop shows that the movie is being rejected by the audience. Usually, Sunday brings in more money but in Martin’s case, Saturday’s collection was higher. This makes it clear that people are losing interest in the movie.

Martin Day 3 Box Office Collection

Falling Behind Expectations
After three days, the total collection of Martin stands at ₹19.55 crores. This is way below what was expected, especially for a movie with a big budget of ₹100 crores. It now looks almost impossible for Martin to even reach ₹50 crores by the end of its run.

Competing with Other Films
Martin is currently the third-highest-grossing Kannada film of 2024 behind Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi and Bheema, both of which have earned around ₹30 crores. What’s surprising is that these two films were made on medium budgets and were single-language releases, while Martin was promoted as a pan-Indian film.

The movie also faced criticism for its poor VFX, weak direction and even Dhruva Sarja’s performance.

What’s Next for Martin?
With the holidays over, the coming days are important for the film’s future but it’s likely that collections will keep dropping. Martin has about 18 days left before another big Kannada film, Bhageera releases. After that, it may lose even more screens and viewers.

The makers have confirmed that Martin will release internationally in the second week, which might help it make a little more money. But with the way things are going, it’s hard to see the film making a big comeback.

Day-wise Box Office Collection for Martin:

DayCollection (₹ Crores)
Day 18.50 Cr
Day 26.80 Cr
Day 34.25 Cr
Total (3 Days)19.55 Cr

In conclusion, Martin is struggling to meet expectations and the next few days will decide if the movie can recover some of its losses. However, it’s clear that the film is not performing as well as expected.
